Offender Segment (Level 5)

Offender information is captured as part of the Incident Module when a Person’s Involvement type is classified as a Suspect. This segment consists of only 4 data elements, as follows:

Sequence #: This is a REQUIRED field. It should a number from 1 to 99 that uniquely identifies this offender from all other offenders.

Age: This field is used to indicate the offender’s age, if known

Sex: This field is used to indicate the offender’s sex. Valid codes are "M", "F" and "U"

Race: This field is used to indicate the offender’s race. Valid codes are "W", "B", "I", "A" and "U"
