NIBRS Race

The NIBRS Race field is used to capture the race of an offender, arrestee or victim when the NIBRS Victim Type code is "I" (Individual). The NIBRS race codes used in CrimeStar are those referenced by the published FBI NIBRS specifications and are not modifiable by the user. Acceptable values for this field are as follows:

W = White

B = Black

I = American Indian / Alaskan Native

A = Asian / Pacific Islander

U = Unknown
