POLICE SOFTWARE - CrimeStar Mobile Digital Communicator (MDC)

Crimestar's Mobile Digital Communicator (MDC) provides complete Status Monitor of unit and event activity. The status monitor is viewed as an attribute page of units and events similar to the look and feel of the status monitor pages used in Crimestar CAD. The MDC controller can be configured to broadcast the status monitor data on periodic intervals or a unit may expressly REQUERY the system to get a updated status monitor display.

Each event record displayed on the status monitor is hyperlinked to retrieve the detailed event record quickly and easily. The user can select to Hide either the Units or Events or can choose to filter out certain units and events based on Unit Type, Beat, District, Sector or call/event priority. Additionally units and events can be view in a more graphical MAP format on the map page.
