Commissary Inventory

The Commissary Inventory section of CrimeStar allows you to build a comprehensive list of items available for purchase by inmates in the Jail Commissary Module. Only items listed in the Commissary Inventory will be available for purchase. Likewise, the system will use the prices and inventory counts from the Commissary Inventory without exception. Each item in the Commissary inventory should have a UPC product barcode assigned and recorded so that the barcode checkout capabilities of the Commissary Module can be utilized. Where applicable suppliers and the related cost for any given product should be recorded so that sales and inventory reorder reports can be generated.

· Note the "Price" is the price that the item is sold to the Inmate, while the "Cost" is the cost to purchase this item from the supplier.
