About Crimestar CAD

The Crimestar Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) functions as a complete real-time command and control system for handling all the events and fields resources associated with a Dispatch or 911 Communications center.  Crimestar CAD, provides an easy to use and intuitive environment for handling multiple events (i.e. Calls) simultaneously, providing second-by-second tracking of all field units and maintaining safety timers for all field resources and activities.  Crimestar CAD is completely integrated with RMS allowing for the easy and automatic transfer of data from CAD into the RMS Calls-For-Service module as well as being able to operate within the RMS work environment.

Additionally CAD functionality, including unit status updates, car-to-car and car-to-dispatch messaging and Automated Vehicle Location (AVL) can be extended into the field in real time via the advanced Crimestar Mobile Digital Communicator (MDC) system.
