NIBRS Resident Status

The NIBRS Resident Status field is used to capture the resident status of a victim when the NIBRS Victim Type code is "I" (Individual). The NIBRS resident status codes used in CrimeStar are those referenced by the published FBI NIBRS specifications and are not modifiable by the user. Acceptable values for this field are as follows:

R = Resident

N = Non Resident

U = Residency Unknown
