The NIBRS victim type field is used to indicate what type of entity was the victim of a particular crime. The NIBRS Victim Type codes used in CrimeStar are those referenced by the published FBI NIBRS specifications and are not modifiable by the user. Acceptable values for this field are as follows:
I = Individual
B = Business
F = Financial Institution
G = Government
R = Religious Organization
S = Society / Public
O = Other
U = Unknown
