The one time license fee entitles you to forever use the version of the Crimestar software that was available when you licensed the product. The annual support and maintenance fee entitles you to update your purchased software and use the latest version of the software available during your support period.  The annual support fee also entitles you to receive technical assistance from Crimestar Corporation in the event that you experience problems or difficulties associate with Crimestar software products.
