The Mobile Digital Communicator (MDC) provides quick access popup screens that make it easy to perform system wide database search for People, Vehicles or Property as well as for specific CAD Event and Unit history data.  When the optional Crimestar Message Switch/Gateway software is installed query transactions are also submitted to State and NCIC.
   
  
  
Query returns are queued so that the user can view them when ready.  Messages can be displayed on either Display #1 or Display #2 panels.  Messages are automatically held in a 20 message history queue and can optionally be saved to disc for later retrieval.
