Crimestar's Mobile Digital Communicator (MDC) provides a quick and easy way for officers to send message to each other or to dispatch.  Using the program's Admin message popup form,  text messages of up to 1000 characters can be composed and delivered to up to 5 other units.  Likewise by addressing the message to a special broadcast address a field unit or dispatcher can send a message to all MDC workstations and CAD operator positions.

 

Inbound message are placed in queue with other received messages.  Messages in queue can be viewed by clicking the next message button.
