Additional State Specific IBR Requirements
Many states who participate in the National Incident Based Reporting System (NIBRS) program adhere to the Federal FBI data format without deviation. However a few states have complicated things a bit and have chosen to alter the format of the submitted data file by adding additional codes, data elements and/or data segments to the IBR reporting process.
Crimestar RMS currently supports the specific IBR data requirements for the following non-FBI-standard states:
Arizona
Illinois ( Software Development in progress )
Iowa ( Waiting for updated specifications from the State )
Louisiana (LIBRS)
Massachusetts ( Waiting for updated specifications from the State )
Missouri (MIBRS)
Montana (MTIBRS)
Nevada ( Software Development in progress )
North Dakota
Ohio (O-IBRS) ( Software Development in progress )
Oklahoma ( Software Development in progress )
Oregon (O-NIBRS) ( Software Development in progress )
Pennsylvania (PA NIBRS)
South Carolina (SCIBRS)
Tennessee (TIBRS)
Texas (TIBRS)
Wisconsin (WIBRS)
Wyoming ( WYIBRS ) ( Software Development in progress )
As stated above Crimestar RMS supports IBR/NIBRS reporting in any and all states where the state specifications are 100% federal compliant and have not deviated from the published FBI specifications. Some states that are known to Crimestar to 100% follow the Federal (FBI) NIBRS specifications are:
Arkansas
Maine
Mississippi
New Mexico
North Carolina
New Hampshire
