Investigation Summary

 

The Investigation Summary provides an "umbrella" type tool to record or identify that Multiple Incident reports are somehow related to one another. The system provides you with the ability to identify these groupings of related Incident Reports as a "Case File". Each case file has an Identification Case #, Case Name and a Case Officer or agent assigned to coordinate the activities associated with these different incident reports. Likewise each case file can have a disposition, which may be different than the disposition of any or all the Incidents that are contained within the case file. Note: the case officer or agent may or may not be the investigator assigned to the investigation of any particular incident. A Case file can contain an unlimited number of Incident reports and an Incident Report can be included in an unlimited number of case files.

 

You may print various "CASE" related reports via the General Reports menu.
