How to Dock/Undock a Toolbar

CrimeStar toolbars by default are ‘Docked’ at the top of the screen. However toolbars can be placed wherever you want them. To move or ‘undock’ a toolbar move the point pointer over a portion of the toolbar where there is no button or other control. Then while holding down the left mouse button drag the toolbar to a different part of the screen. As the tool bar is moved near the edges of the screen it will automatically attempt to ‘dock’ along that specific edge of the screen. You can either dock the toolbar in a different location or keep it as a free-floating toolbar palette somewhere other than at the screen edge.

Likewise CrimeStar toolbars can be reshaped when they are undocked. By moving the mouse pointer over the edge of a toolbar the mouse cursor will change to a small arrow. While the cursor is a small arrow hold down the left mouse button and drag the toolbar edge until the desired shape or configuration is achieved.
