Some jurisdictions prohibit or restrict the automation of Juvenile records. CrimeStar provides a configurable Age Warning message to alert the user when a subject is below a certain age. CrimeStar will not prohibit the entry of the data based on this condition, it is only a reminder warning.
The Age Warning limit can be set on the ‘Name Index’ page of the system configuration file. Any person whose age calculates to a value equal to or below the Warning Limit will cause CrimeStar to produce the warning message.
