The WSIN template is used to partially complete a Western States Information Network (WSIN) subject card. These cards are completed and sent to WSIN by local law enforcement agencies within the Western United States. Once received by WSIN they are cataloged and indexed, to provide critical investigative information to authorized law enforcement agencies.
While Narcotics and Drug related criminal activity is not the only information cataloged, it is the primary focus of WSIN. This template utility is used by various Drug and Narcotic Task Force agencies who use CrimeStar within the scope of their operations.
To use the WSIN template, simply activate the template form, select an MNI record and a Vehicle Record. The related data will be printed on the form. Note that the form contain numerous fields that are not completed by the computer as they pertain to data that CrimeStar does not capture or maintain.
