The confidential fund voucher is a basic general ledger for cash transactions. Designed primarily for handling cash transactions associated with narcotic purchases and confidential informants, this ledger is a simple deposit and withdrawal tracking mechanism. The design is that deposits are made to a cash account and every withdrawal of funds has an associated transaction voucher to identify exactly how those funds were used. Within the ledger deposits are represented as positive number entries to the ledger and withdrawals (or Vouchers) are represented as negative entries to the ledger.
