POD, Block, Cell

These fields are used as a generic reference to the physical location within the jail facility where the subject is currently being held. Typically a POD is a wing or section of a jail building. A Block (Cell Block) is a subsection within a POD or wing of the building and usually holds a group of individual cells. A cell is a specific room within a Cell Block.
