How to Print UCR Reports

CrimeStar provides the ability to produce Uniform Crime Reports (UCR) which are suitable to be filed with your local or state filing authority (provided they utilize the FBI national reporting format) or the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Before printing UCR reports you will need to complete the UCR Report Setup form. This form maintains non-crime statistic information, which must be shown on the reports, such as the agency name, Population etc. To complete the UCR Report Setup select ‘Reports’ from the Main menu. Then select the ‘Uniform Crime Report (UCR)’ option from the ‘Reports’ menu. Then select ‘UCR Report Agency Information’ from the ‘Uniform Crime Report (UCR) ‘ menu. This will open and display the UCR Report Setup Form. Once this form has been completed, you can select the other option from the ‘Uniform Crime Report (UCR)’ menu labeled ‘Return A - Monthly Return of Offenses’

You will be prompted to supply the date range for the reports. Provide the appropriate dates and select the OK button. A series of UCR reports will then be printed.
