How to make data fields required

CrimeStar provides you with the ability to make certain data fields required when records are either created or edited. To make fields required open the CrimeStar RMS Configuration form by selecting ‘Configure RMS’ from the ‘System’ menu.  On the Configuration form you will see that many of the CrimeStar system modules are represented. Select the module icon that corresponds to the module you wish to configure.  Once a specific page has been displayed any fields which can be made required will be shown with a check box next to the field name. Checking the box indicates that the field is required.
