Customization

CrimeStar RMS is provided as a ‘Generic’ application software product for law enforcement. It is licensed ‘AS IS’ per the terms of the License Agreement. As such it is not and will not be customized or tailored to the needs of any specific customer or law enforcement agency. Licensed users may request that program modifications or changes be made, however CrimeStar Corporation shall in all cases review the scope of the request to determine if the requested change will be performed. The criteria used for this review process is simple:

If the nature of the request is such that the majority of CrimeStar RMS users will benefit from the change, and the technical requirements to make the change are reasonable and within Crimestar Corporation’s ability, the change request will scheduled for a future release.

If however, the request is such that it will not benefit the majority of Crimestar RMS customers, or the technical requirements are unreasonable or beyond the ability of Crimestar Corporation, the change will not be made. Crimestar Corporation will not enter into separate contracts to make custom or user specific changes for a fee, as to do so would create multiple instances of the software which must be supported (See: Technical Support Agreement) and dilute our internal programming resources.
