Consumed Time

The Consumed Time field holds a value in minutes that represents the total amount of time consumed by field units responding to a call. The "CALC" button will calculate the consumed time by time subtracting the Enroute Time from the Clear Time for each unit, then adding the result from each unit together and rounding UP to the nearest whole minute. If additional units were on the Event you can simply adjust the Consumed time field manually to accurately reflect the total consumed time for all units.

Note that: "Queue Time" ( which is defined as the time between when the call was received and when it was Dispatched), as well as "Dispatch Time" (which is defined as the time between Dispatch and Enroute Times) is not used for consumed time calculations since many agencies immediately Dispatch (or Notify) a unit about a call, even when the unit is still active on an existing call.
