When a Unit is dispatched or otherwise attached to an event it is often necessary or desirable for a unit to make a comment directly associated with the EVENT so that the comments appear as part of the Event History. This can be done using the RADIO LOG command. Since the unit is attached to the Event any comment associated with the UNIT automatically becomes part of the EVENT history.
