The CrimeStar CAD system utilizes the best of windows technology allowing the dispatcher to drag and drop units onto events or command buttons as a quick and easy way to invoke commands and manage resources. Dragging a unit to the dispatch button dispatches the unit to the selected event. Dragging the unit to the Arrive button, Arrives the unit, etc. etc. The process of managing units via either Drag and Drop, Quick Popup Menus from the status monitors, the Control Panel command buttons or even the old fashioned command line make learning and using CrimeStar CAD fast, easy, flexible and efficient.
With Crimestar CAD there are generally 3 or 4 different ways to perform each type of action within the system allowing the user to select the style or method that they feel most comfortable with.
