* The dispatch system discussed in the above article was not/is not, Crimestar CAD.  The reference to this article is only intended to illustrate and show that we are not new to CAD systems. The long history that the primary architect of Crimestar CAD has in dealing with these types of systems, dating back the days of mini computers (mid 1980's) and transitioning to the powerful micro-computer LAN based systems that are popular today, provides a foundation of understanding and knowledge that makes Crimestar CAD a solid solution for public safety.
